Shifting Energy - Our Connection To Infinite Possibilities

"Amazing. Utterly amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!"

Energy & Three Principles Based Retreat in Cape Verde with Fiona MaguireDamian Mark Smyth

on Sal Island, Cape Verde, from January 14th to 16th, 2019

After last year’s incredible retreat with Dr Jack Pransky and Damian Mark Smyth in the stunning setting of Santa Maria on Sal Island, Cape Verde, we are back with another retreat for January 2019, where we will be exploring how to work with Energy - with Fiona Maguire and Damian Mark Smyth.

The Three Principles are a description of how we experience reality from the inside out, but they don’t tell us how to live our lives. They also point to the infinite intelligence behind life, the same intelligence which knows how to change summer into autumn and how to produce complex systems which allow us to see and be conscious.

Humans have been created over millions of years of evolution and yet we are only just beginning to understand how ‘we’ operate on a physiological level. The Human Operating System (Three Principles) is one part of what makes us human and gives us a commonality, even if the results of the process are different for everyone.

Playing with the Energy behind life is where we will focus this retreat as we open up to the infinite possibilities available to us in every moment... as we become more aware of its power and how it works in our own lives and how we are ALL connected to it... through Love.

This will be a full-on retreat, taking place on an island which is a volcano! We will be going into the hills, up into parts of the island away from civilisation and connecting deeply to the forces of nature which have shaped this island. The energy there is healing and loving, despite it being so intense.

Plug in, tune up and align with infinity!

"Energy cannot be created or destroyed,

it can only be changed from one form to another"

 - Albert Einstein

In this interactive retreat/workshop, Fiona Maguire, a highly intuitive and experienced energy worker will show us how to unblock, shift, and adjust our energy to feel more alive, have more vitality and be able to deal with the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Damian Mark Smyth will show us some of the new and incredible science behind Energy and how we can tap into its wonderful potential at this life-changing retreat in such a stunning setting.

It's going to be full on. But they'll be plenty of down-time too - hanging out on the beach, meditating and yoga.

Albert Einstein said "Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it".... "Matter is energy, energy is light. We are all light beings and mass and energy are both, but different manifestations of the same thing"..... "What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses, there is no matter. Energy is everything!!"

Why Cape Verde…?

The island of Sal on Cape Verde (also known as Cabo Verde by the locals), is almost exclusively dedicated to tourism and owes its name to the industry that thrived here between the eighteenth and mid-seventh centuries… Salt! A land of wonderful white sandy beaches, warm and transparent waters and coral reefs, the island offers unique conditions for water sports, from surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing to diving, fishing and swimming.

Despite its volcanic origin, the island is flat, resembling the lunar surface and has a warm tropical dry climate, which allows tourists to enjoy the stunning beaches or the famous salt flats for 365 days a year. It is the main tourist point of Cape Verde, being responsible for more than 50% of the overnight stays of the whole archipelago. Visits to the bay of Murdeira, Rabo de Junco, Bay of Joaquim Petinha, Buracona, Ponta Preta, as well as the Grotto of Love, among others, are obligatory for those who visit this island, plus there'll be hiking expeditions on the days around the retreat, organised by Dany and Neida from 32 Cabo Verde.

What is the cost?

The price is just £495 for this life changing retreat - Including all refreshments at the venue, a group lunch on day 1 and end of retreat dinner on day 4. We work in the morning and evening, so the afternoons are free for you to enjoy the stunning beaches, beautiful sunshine and wonderful local hospitality.

Flight costs from the UK are between £300-£450 return and hotels in Santa Maria on Sal Island are around £350 upwards for a one week stay (all accommodation there is of a good standard) with Air BnB’s also available. You will need to organise your own flights, transfers and accommodation for the retreat, plus meals and refreshments outside of the organised group meals and 32 Cabo Verde.

There are limited numbers for this retreat, so book early to avoid disappointment.

£495

What else is there to do whilst there?

Dany and Neida, who run 32 Cabo Verde will also be organising a number of excursions for attendees at a much reduced rate - which you can take advantage of if you want to do something more energetic than lying on the beach! There is also a real sense of community and connection as you get to know the others in the group through the exercises. For example, the last group have organised reunions and are always connecting on Facebook, sharing stories and insights since the 2018 retreat.

Where do I stay?

There are many hotels and resorts and bed & breakfasts in Santa Maria to accommodate all types of budgets. If you are into all the comforts of a really nice hotel take a look at:

  1. Hotel Morabeza https://hotelmorabeza.com/ - the first hotel on Sal, or
  2. Hotel Odjo d´Agua http://www.odjodagua-hotel.com:80/ which is right on the water.
  3. As many of the accommodations are privately owned (and rented out directly by their owners), we recommend you to check Airbnb.com.
  4. If you’re travelling on a tight budget please check out 32 Cabo Verde's friends at Sakaroule Bed & Breakfast http://sakaroulecaboverde.com/ or
  5. find a rental apartment at the local Sal 4 Rent office.

What do I need to consider when visiting Sal?

If this is your first visit to Cape Verde, make sure your passport expiry date is more than 6 months from now. For those travelling from outside Europe, make sure to check out this website for details on adapters for your electrical devices: http://www.power-plugs-sockets.com/en-se/cape-verde/ All visitors require a 25 Euros visa (paid at the airport upon arrival or prepaid in advance online). We recommend that you prepay the visa by using this link: https://www.tui.co.uk/destinations/cape-verde-visa-application to avoid queuing at the airport on arrival. The Euro is the accepted currency so there is no need for exchange of currencies of any kind if you’re coming from Europe (not the UK).

Which airlines fly to Sal, Cape Verde?

TUI and Thomas Cook Airlines operate the UK's only direct flights. Both airlines serve Sal's Amílcar Cabral International Airport (SID), while TUI also flies into Boa Vista's Aristides Pereira Airport (BVC).

What kind of luggage do I need to bring with me?

We recommend you travel light! Traveling to Santa Maria is like travelling to any holiday destination in the sun like Spain, Portugal and North Africa. When packing, remember that you’re travelling to spend time in a place where the temperature is around 25 degrees centigrade or 77 degrees Fahrenheit all year round.

During the winter holiday season, it’s usually quite windy (hence the reason why kitesurfing and windsurfing are so popular), so make sure you bring a hoodie or a warm sweater for those windy moments and colder evenings. The 32 Cabo Verde venue is in the heart of Santa Maria, a short walking distance to everything you’ll ever need and just 100m from the main sandy beach with crystal clear water. You can find most things you need for beach life in and around the event venue itself.

Yes please, I want to be there...!!
